The TechPoint Mira Awards, presented by BKD, are the premier technology awards program in the state of Indiana. Since the turn of the century, TechPoint has honored Indiana businesses, schools and universities, and individuals for their contributions to the state’s technology-related economy. TechPoint’s prestigious Mira Awards program recognizes leaders and innovators in 11 different business categories.
“What is noteworthy is that many companies that are now heralded as ‘marquee’ technology leaders in the state of Indiana were TechPoint Mira Award winners or finalists when they were fledgling startups,” said TechPoint President and CEO Jim Jay. “If a company wins a TechPoint Mira Award you can expect to see them to grow and prosper in the years to follow.”
TechPoint Mira Awards recognize businesses, schools and universities, and individuals in the following categories. The “gazelle” designation indicates that a company has been in business less than three years:

Nomination forms for the TechPoint Mira Awards consist of seven fact-based questions covering growth, product or service information, community involvement, forecasting and accomplishments. Anyone may submit a nomination; businesses, schools and universities, and individuals may nominate themselves. Association with TechPoint is not required, but nominees must operate in the state of Indiana. Previous TechPoint Mira Award winners and finalists are allowed and encouraged to participate in the 2010 awards program.
